The Redline Detection 1962 Bubbletop Belair Race Car will run in both Super Gas and Super Comp A Classes. The car was built by Tom Yancer Race Cars and is a full chrome moly tube chassis build, with a fiberglass and carbon fiber body. The engine, built by Larry Marshall, is a 565 cubic inch big block Chevy with over 1000 horsepower. Under full throttle, a dragster engine consumes 11.2 gallons of nitro methane per second, the same burn rate that a fully loaded 747 consumes jet fuel.

The Redline Detection 1962 Bubbletop Belair Race Car Team will compete in Division 7 of the NHRA Lucas Oil Series this year with races throughout the western U.S.
